Single estate extra dark chocolate with directly traded cacao beans from a small farmer and dear friend in San Andrés, Costa Rica
Info: For this extra dark version of our Costa Rican chocolate we roasted the cacao beans medium-dark in our modified coffee roaster to highlight some of the complexity and flowery citrus notes but still keeping the deep, nutty flavours and low acidity.
Tasting notes: Earthy. Nutty. Flowery aftertaste with a hint of citrus. An intense dark chocolate but sweeter and less bitter than you would expect.
Ingredients: Cacao beans, organic cane sugar.
Vegan. Gluten Free. All pure, organic and sustainably grown ingredients!
